This cove is on the back side of an island a few minutes from my house. It’s a great place to hike and people jump from the one cliff. It’s about half way between where the sun rises and the sun sets and gets very interesting light at those times of days.

I never get tired of painting trees that find themselves on the tops of mountains with nothing around but the view. I can really appreciate their unique shapes.
22x52 acrylic on canvas
This piece is painted from one of my fav drives. Close to home and so peaceful. I love the times of the year when there are very few leaves on the trees and the sculptural Ness of the trees show and seem to dance with each other.

This is a beautiful tree with a little companion. The canvas it is painted on is slightly warped pulling on corner away from the wall about a quarter of an inch. Most people wouldn’t notice while it is hanging. It may be able to be squared up if framed in a floating frame. Sold as is at the discounted price

Trees often grow in the cracks and crannies of rocks, sometimes on the edges of land. This group looked like it was out in the lake as gatekeepers, holding tight and enjoying the view

The morning light stretching around the corner of a cove and dancing on the keeper of the cove.

Another peaceful day along the lake, the trees were lit in the morning light and the pink danced on the water
SMALL WORKS
16 x 40 x1.5 inches, acrylic on canvas, unframed
This tree was so fun to paint, it is so cheerful, happily blowing in the wind. The sky appeared white that day but the tree still felt like it had so many colors in it.
